These CVC word hats would make a great phonics center or craft to accompany your short vowel phonics instruction. These crowns add a predictable activity to your phonics routines when you use them every time you introduce a new short.

There are at least two picture options for each short vowel. There are also options with and without the breve symbol. You can choose which version you'd like to complete – cut & glue CVC words or just color the CVC words.
