Do you have a student who gets frustrated when working independently or gives up instead of seeking help? This social story reinforces that it’s okay to ask for help instead of getting angry or giving up and who to ask. These stories teach students how to make positive choices at school. A social story are a great way to teach appropriate social skills to students in need of special education (ESE) with autism, behavior disorders (like ADHD or ODD), or other special needs. This story focuses on asking for help.
This social story includes a one-page version of the story and a 6-page book (or easy reader). I include both black and white and color versions of each.
