Social Story Waiting Your Turn

$3.25

Description

Do you have a student who has trouble waiting his turn in class? This social story focuses on waiting for your turn to speak. Impulse control is tricky for young students, especially students with autism. The story will help students to know what to do if they have something to say while the teacher is teaching or how to wait for a good time to talk. A social story is a great way to promote appropriate social skills and to help impulsive students learn how to follow the rules.

These stories teach students how to make positive choices instead of acting out in anger or frustration. A social story is an effective way to use visuals to teach social skills to students in need of special education (ESE), with behavior disorders (like ADHD or ODD) or other special needs.
